ABOUT ME

Supporting Women Through Breast Cancer — With Expertise, Empathy and Lived Experience

I’m Isabel Galiano — a Breast Cancer Coach, certified nutritional therapist and health coach, yoga therapy instructor, and a 20-year breast cancer survivor.

For over a decade, I have supported women around the world through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery — helping them feel less overwhelmed, more supported, and more confident as they navigate the physical and emotional realities of breast cancer.

My work brings together professional expertise and lived experience — offering guidance that is both evidence-informed and deeply human.

My Story — and Why I Understand Yours

At 32, I heard the words no one expects to hear:
“You have breast cancer.”

At the time, life felt full of plans — a growing career, newly married, thinking about starting a family. Within weeks, everything shifted from future plans to medical appointments, treatments, and uncertainty.

Treatment became intense and all-consuming: surgeries, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and hormone therapy. Like many women, I focused on getting through — one appointment, one decision, one day at a time.

Two years later, during a routine follow-up, my cancer returned.

That moment changed not only how I approached treatment, but how I understood healing itself.

Why I Do This Work

My earliest motivation was to support my own recovery. I immersed myself in understanding how to sustain health and wellbeing after cancer. Over time, that personal search became a clear purpose: to help other women navigate breast cancer with clarity, steadiness, and support.

What inspires me most are the women I meet and the stories they share. Their strength, vulnerability, and courage shape how I work and remind me every day why this work matters.

Since 2016, I’ve coached women through diagnosis, treatment, and life after breast cancer — helping them feel less overwhelmed and equipping them with practical tools to better manage treatment and recovery.
